For our first meeting back over break, we started by answering our icebreaker which was "What brought you to CRAS & what has been your favorite CRAS memory up til this point?". We discussed the benefits of joining AES and how to join, as well as the student rates. We went over a few new events that have just been announced here at CRAS, including visits from Dr. Micheal Harrington, MusicTeam, and Milab Microphones. We talked about Women of Audio and our mentorship team and how to participate in both, as well as how to create a subgroup. The one subgroup that currently meets is Music & Songwriting which meets every Thursday week 1 and week 2 at 6:30 PM in Gilbert room 103. We wrapped up by going over our free plugin of the week, Sonic Toothbrush, which is a synth-like tone of a Sonic Toothbrush processed through a variety of effects.
