The Rioplatense Audio Gatherings have become a fundamental space for the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of professional audio among students and specialists from both sides of the Río de la Plata. Since their inception in 2019, this event has served as a key platform to connect the audio communities of Argentina and Uruguay.
The sixth Rioplatense Audio Gathering, held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, took place in the "Fernando Cardani" hall of the Teatro Bastión del Carmen, located in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. Organized by the Professional Sections of AES Argentina and AES Uruguay, the event brought together leading professionals while also providing a prominent stage for student initiatives.
Representing the AES-TAMABA Student Section, students Rocío Briga and Bartolomé Serra Muntaner presented their startup, "Trigonix Audio", a newly established company that emerged less than a year ago during the association's student meetings.
During their presentation, Briga and Serra Muntaner shared insights into the development of their plugin package, which includes a distortion plugin, a compressor, a delay, and a tremolo. They also invited attendees to download the beta versions from the official Trigonix Audio website, showcasing their commitment to innovation and collaboration in the professional audio field.
This event not only allowed the students to demonstrate their talent but also reinforced the core purpose of the Rioplatense Audio Gatherings: to foster learning, exchange, and professional growth among new generations and sector leaders.
