CRAS is excited to welcome back Paula Salvatore, Candace Stewart, and Trent Slatton for the CRAS Studio Manager Panel. These three bring decades of experience managing some of the top studios on the planet, and provide invaluable information for anyone that is about to enter the audio industry. THIS IS A MANDATORY DAYTIME EVENT

Milab Microphones will be visiting all the way from Sweden to present their gear to use here at CRAS! There will be daytime demonstrations & a special AES meeting at 6:30 PM.

We began the meeting with going over upcoming events & talked about future AES events coming up as well including. We went over what AES is, the benefits of being part of AES, and encouraged students to sign up for an AES membership at the discounted student rate. Introduced ourselves & answered the icebreaker questions "If you were a steak how would you be cooked?" We wrapped up by talking about our subgroups and clubs on campus, including the mentors and the Women of Audio group who meet every Week 1 Tuesday in Pro Tools Lab on the Tempe Campus (Shoutout to Nancy!). There will be no WOA meeting this week & they will instead be doing a piano recording session next Wednesday, December 18th in Studio A, Gilbert & setup will start at 6:30 PM. Also the Music Creation & Songwriting sub group meets THURSDAY every Week 1 & Week 2 at 6:30 PM in Gilbert Room 103 (Shoutout to Zaya Heap!).
