Summary

Webster's Audio Engineering Society Student Section began the month of November with a pizza meeting on November 5th. During this meeting, students were invited to network amongst their peers while enjoying slices of pizza. The following week, on November 12th, We moved to Studio B for an interactive foley recording session headed by Beth Davis (Webster AES Sponsors Chair) and Lucas O'Donnell (Webster AES Involvement Chair). During this meeting, students were invited to learn about the creation of foley and other sound design effects for visual media. Many students were also given the opportunity to create their own foley effects simulating footsteps, thunder, and rain. On November 19th, Webster AES held nominations for Summit chair positions for the upcoming Central Region Audio Student Summit. During this meeting, students were able to nominate themselves and their peers for logistics, hospitality, and transportation chair positions. Once a list of the student nominees had been made, the meeting was wrapped up with a short conversation on album aesthetics. Students could once again pick out songs to listen to and discuss with their peers. The following week, on November 26th, nominated students were officially elected for one of the available CRASS chair positions, rounding out the month of November.
