Meeting Location: Gilbert, AZ
We began the meeting with going over upcoming events & talked about future AES events coming up as well including. We went over what AES is, the benefits of being part of AES, and encouraged students to sign up for an AES membership at the discounted student rate. Introduced ourselves & answered the icebreaker questions "If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go & what would you do?" We wrapped up by talking about our subgroups and clubs on campus, including the mentors and the Women of Audio group who meet every Week 1 Tuesday in Pro Tools Lab on the Tempe Campus (Shoutout to Nancy!). Also the Music Creation & Songwriting sub group meets THURSDAY every Week 1 & Week 2 at 6:30 PM in Gilbert Room 103 (Shoutout to Zaya Heap!).
