Jes Kerr discussed how listening experiences are produced and received by different listeners, including audiophiles. This talk was an interesting take on the wide range of audio reproduction experiences rendered by basic to full-on high-end equipment posing insightful questions on the match (or mismatch) of programme material with the reproduction system. Along the way, Jes shared experiences from his career in professional audio and supported an excellent Q & A session during which many aspects of his current work as a loudspeaker designer were explored.
