On Monday, April 29th, members of the Student Section gathered to exchange knowledge on editing procedures, signal processing, and mixing.
Several students shared the work they had done in their mixing sessions with the attending audience and demonstrated the use they made of the material.
In a "step-by-step" walkthrough, process chains such as compression, parallel compression, the use of different reverbs, and emulation of preamplifiers and equalization were described.
This activity was held as a precursor to the announcement of winners of the IV AES-TAMABA Mixing Competition.
