After careful consideration of reports on the public health crisis, we decided to cancel the hotly anticipated in-person visit to the relatively young DAFT Studios in Malmédy on Thursday 2 December. Instead, DAFT very kindly offered to host a virtual tour for AES members. It included a fascinating journey through the history of the complex, the acoustical considerations, and the studio's infrastructure and equipment, with ample opportunity for Q&A.
