On Tuesday, December 26th, the representatives of the AES-TAMABA Student Section - Federico Gironelli, Fernando Castillo, Brian Aras, Nahuel Montero, and Bartolomé Serra Muntaner - gathered with Faculty Advisor Gustavo González to address a range of topics.
We kicked off the work on renewing the Section's leadership and conducted a thorough review of the activities undertaken throughout the 2023 term. Delving into the strengths and weaknesses of the concluding year, we began charting the roadmap for 2024.
A particular emphasis was placed on the strategic planning of new in-person training sessions and masterclasses throughout the upcoming year. We evaluated the pros and cons of recording materials for the upcoming Student Recording Competition, sharing the progress made in the ongoing research with Indio Gauvron. Additionally, possibilities for launching new research initiatives were explored.
Furthermore, discussions revolved around concrete actions to encourage widespread participation from students at the TAMABA Tertiary Institute, considering the potential organization of new internal mixing competitions or other formative activities on the 2024 calendar.
As we enter the months of January and February, we will take a brief respite, but we look forward to swiftly resuming the challenges that the upcoming year holds for us.
