In the early days of November, members of the AES-TAMABA Student Section (Federico Gironelli, Bruan Aras, Nahuel Montero, Emmanuel Zannoni) actively participated in the most prominent technological exhibition of the year, CAPER Show 2023, held at the Costa Salguero Convention Center. During this significant experience, the students engaged in various activities, with a standout being the visit to the immersive audio room.
The immersive audio room, one of the main attractions, provided our students with a unique and captivating experience in the world of audio. The cutting-edge technology presented in this space allowed them to explore new sound dimensions and understand the latest innovations in the audio industry.
Additionally, members of the Student Section actively participated in training sessions proposed by the AES Argentina team as part of the CAPER Show. These sessions offered valuable insights and knowledge on current and future trends in the audio field, such as artificial intelligence applied to audio, the uses and applications of compression, or post-production work for a film.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet with the Faculty Advisor of AES-TAMABA and President of AES Argentina, Gustavo Gonzalez. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss future projects, receive direct guidance, and further strengthen the connection between AES-TAMABA and the professional audio community in Argentina.
In summary, the participation of the AES-TAMABA Student Section in CAPER Show 2023 was a resounding success. The visit to the immersive audio room, the training sessions offered, and the meeting with prominent industry leaders solidified the experience for our students, providing them with practical knowledge and fostering valuable connections in the field of audio. We are excited to continue strengthening our presence in the audio community.
