On February 10th, 2023, our monthly AES meeting was held. During this meeting, seven members were in attendance, including 2 members of the Executive Office. Given that our Secretary (Jorai Bart) could not attend the meeting due to an LTU athletic event, we had our Treasurer, Christian Hammond, fill in as Secretary for the evening. The following points consist of the updates in regards to the Section:
Announcement of LTU AES Student Section officially recognized on AES website
Recap of Guitar Luthier Shop Project, headed by Logan Wessell (success)

Shared Phonolab schedule spread sheet with the Quorum
Introduced June 1st AES Design Competition information (Ball State University)
Introduced agenda for March AES Section meeting: "Is Graduate School Right For Me?" featuring John Krivit, Bill Crabtree, and Bill Schulenburg.
We had a short agenda for February given our long meeting in January, and focused on a hands-on project for the whole meeting: Students were to solder 2 wires together and were encouraged to be creative in their technical approach. Snacks were brought from a few of our members, and we had a fun and relaxing time working on our soldering.
Best regards,
Jorai Bart
