Last Monday 25th we gathered trough Zoom in order to have our regular monthly meeting, the first with the full new elected board. Two general topics were discussed:
1) The general situation of lack of new members and renovations: mainly due to the inflation process in Argentina (right now more than the 100%) it is very difficult for students to join or renew membership. We know that other student sections in our country suffer the same situation, and also that a future meeting with all Argentina's sections -including the professional- will be gathered to discuss ways to try solve this.
2) The CLR & DIGRA projects: these R+D works are on a stage that perhaps allows specific meetings to show their progress both for members and non-members, so we defined a deadline to make one open meeting for each project inside this first half of the year, in order to compromise members to maintain themselves and of course, to get new ones.
The next month we will make specific activities related for both topics.
