It was an important day for AES Columbus — officers were elected. The group reviewed the slate of officers -- Chair, Lesley Fogle; Vice Chair: Keith Hanlon; Secretary / Treasurer: Rob Powell — and approved it unanimously.
After electing officers, the group discussed the creation of a professional resource directory, next steps to establish the chapter's website, and the possibility of the entire chapter attending 2022 Fall AES in New York.
Regarding the website, the group agreed that accessibility is a priority and that it should be usable by the visually impaired.
The next meeting is planned to be in early October at MusicMax, Inc., with a presentation by Althar Audio of a Dolby Atmos setup using their products.
