The judges spent time talking to each of the attendees while listening to their songs. They got to know a little bit about them personally, then there was a two-way discussion about each of their compositions. The feedback given was on lyrics, arrangement, song structure and engineering. As Tara spoke, she also played back parts of the songs on her piano.
