Summary

Interactive DPA microphone clinic. The speakers were Santiago Ayala and Luis Vargas, representatives of Yamaha in Ecuador and sound engineers. The different DPA microphone models were presented, their manufacturing process, materials and different uses. They are handcrafted microphones, resistant and with a very high quality of sound. The interactive part of the clinic consisted in a demonstration of the microphones with different instruments: acoustic guitar, drum set and saxophone. The attendees could appreciate the versatility of the microphones for different types of recordings.


Clínica interactiva de micrófonos de la marca DPA. Los expositores fueron Santiago Ayala y Luis Vargas, representantes de Yamaha en Ecuador e ingenieros de sonido. Se expusieron los diferentes modelos de DPA, su fabricación, materiales y usos. Son micrófonos hechos artesanalmente, resistententes y con una alta calidad de sonido. La parte interactiva de la clínica consistió en una demostración de los micrófonos en diferentes instrumentos: guitarra acústica, batería y saxofón. Los asistentes pudieron apreciar la versatilidad de los micrófonos para varios tipos de grabaciones.
