Other business or activities at the meeting: Visit from Maria Elisa Ayerbe! Thanks to professor Alejandro Sanchez, we are able to hear the life, experience, career, and work of this Grammy winning engineer.

After some questions about her trajectory, starting as a musician in Bogota and moving to Nashville to study and work as a mixing and recording engineer, she showed us a session she had worked with an artist from Ireland.

She also answered some questions from the attendees, including different organizations students can enroll as part of networking/work-equality efforts.

We talked to her and we expect to visit her at one of her Live Sound contracts in Miami starting next semester.
