Summary

This lecture explored parallel computing for audio applications. Forms of parallelism were examined and applications for sound and music computing discussed. Heterogenous/Homogenous computing for Audio DSP was described in terms of its characteristics and applications. Finally, a new audio processing technique for Parallel Time-varying Convolution was introduced.
