CASE is an anual event hosted by Universidad de las Artes, organized by AES members faculty, and in this occasion with AES Ecuador, as part of the new section activities. This year we were honoured to have highly renowned speakers in Latin America such as: César Lamschtein, Darío Peñaloza, Martha de Francisco, Ezequiel Morfi, Andés Millán and Jorge Azama who gave talks and workshops to AES students and members, and many AES members and faculty who contributed with specialized talks and topics.
This event also gave the opportunity to meet with students from the other sections such as AES UDLA (Universidad de las Américas), and AES USFQ (Universidad San Francisco de Quito). We had the opportunity to show the facilities and share lunch together, and talked about the possibility of collaborating together in the future for upcoming events.
This event was of particular interest to the students of our institution, specially because of access priority to the workshops and the student recording competition. We had about 7-10 new members and many renewals who joined, aiming to this event.
