Other business or activities at the meeting:-Mr.Yeh Chwei-Ching , the founder of the Platinum Studio is invited as the speaker by Taiwan Music Institute for the "Shi Hsu Special Exhibition Series in Remembrance of His 100th Birthday " . Shi Hsu has set up record companies since 1950s. As a music composer, he is also a pioneer in the recording industry of Taiwan.
-The opportunity Mr. Yeh devote himself to vinyl records is because he was born in record pressing plant ; besides, he was major in electrical engineering and interested in audio.
-Around year 1975, Mr. Yeh met a Japanese acoustic engineer and recommended him to join Audio Engineering Society(AES)- the only professional society devoted exclusively to audio technology. By reading AES monthly reports he learnt about the latest Neumann VMS70 cutting lathe can greatly improve the quality of the sound and bought the complete equipment for vinyl records optimization.
-This speech is to introduce the recording technology of Platinum Studio in the early years and understand the production process of the records, including :
