Danny Salazar spoke about his experience as an artist manager, giving explanation on the workings inside the industry and the role's duties. Salazar explained the hierarchies and the different positions within a music production and how this affects the interests of the artist. For a manager, he recommended that he or she does not manage over 4 to 5 artists to be able to focus an optimize resources. He also spoke about the current trends with examples about the fusion of genres, using native instruments in future productions, and the importance of building an image and an identity for the artists.
The participants asked questions about the acquisition of contacts, and the different ways to break through.
