The University of Massachusetts Sound Recording Technology hosted a student chapter event with Joel Simches. Boston chapter members, Charlie DeVane, George Brown, Owen Curtin, Dereck Blackburn, James Corbett, as well as several members of the public and UML students attended the event. A video recording was made. Joel spoke about miking live and how this has influenced his studio recording.
