Genelec warmly invites the local Boston AES Chapter to an evening demonstrating and discussing 3D Audio.
Mr. Eggleston's discussion will revolve around the changes and challenges in the delivery of multichannel audio and the future of 3D audio. A Dolby ATMOS 7.1.4 monitor setup will be available to audition including multiple subwoofers, the TEC Award winning 8351-Acoustically Coaxial Smart Active Monitors arranged in L, C, R and rears, with 8240s for side and 8330s for the overheads. Control of the monitors will under the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager software giving easy access to individual monitor channels during playback.

Will has been with Genelec for more than 20 years providing guidance to hundreds of end users in designing and calibrating surround systems in post production, broadcast and music studios. Prior to working with Genelec Will was part of the product development team at Lexicon in the late 1980s bringing the world's first digital Dolby Pro Logic decoder to market.
