Cornelius Wilkening, Eneko Ezquerro Gómez, Antonia Schwab, Maryam Safi and Danlu Gan of AES Hamburg Student Section
From May 18-23, 2016, the Hamburg Student Section went to Berlin for this year's AES Convention. As it took place in Germany, the Section was involved in the organization as Student Volunteers together with the Berlin Student Section. During the Convention we met with students from CU Denver, who later visited us in Hamburg for a joint workshop.
One of our members, Eneko Ezquerro, Student of the Masters program „Sound/Vision" at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, won the Silver Award at the Recording Competition in Category 4 for his excellent sound design for animation.
Also, Maryam Safi, Officer of the Hamburg Student Section, was elected to become Vice Chair of the Student Delegate Assembly Europe and International. Congratulations to Maryam from the whole Student Section!
The Hamburg Student Section is looking forward to visiting the next Convention in Milan.
