At this meeting, we were going to record an electric guitar with a Shure SM57 Dynamic Microphone and an amplifier. The software we were going to use to record the guitar is called Nuage & Nuendo. This software was just installed in the new critical listening and foley lab at Schoonover Center, room 448. The mic stand we used was called "Dynamount". The moderator used his laptop to remotely operate and move the mic stand forward, back, left, and right. Basically it was a robot microphone stand. This way, if one was in a session and they needed to move the microphone, they can move it with the "Dynamount" software/mic stand.
