Toronto chair Blair Francey welcomed everyone to the meeting.
He thanked all the sponsors for the evening. He thanked Mike Raine from Norris Whitney in helping promote the interests of the Toronto AES.
The new executive committee was elected. No new nominations were announced. Frank Lockwood is the new chair and Alan Clayton is the new vice-chair.

Blair Francey introduced Dr. Peter D'Antonio, Founder and Chairman of RPG Diffusor Systems, Inc., and briefly went over some of his background.
Dr. D'Antonio described himself as a scientist who became an audio engineer.
He discussed the history of RPG, and the evolution of products and services delivered over the last 32 years. He described it a journey with a diversion into acoustics. With the aid of slides he displayed some of the products and installations. RPG exists as a research, and education organization, with school's representing about 60% of their business.
Also during the talk, he discussed measuring absorption, scattering and diffusion coefficients, using multiple microphone technology.
Near the close of his presentation, he talked about the Chesapeake Acoustic Research Institute, and developing calibration standards.
He then took questions from the audience.
At the close of the meeting, Blair gave Dr. D'Antonio a Toronto AES Certificate of Appreciation and souvenir AES coffee mug.
