On October 24, the Netherlands Section conducted a Special Festive meeting to celebrate 40 years of an active AES section in The Netherlands. Naturally the history of the section was reflected on, in the presence and active participation of most of the Founding Members. All proceedings were filmed, including a congratulatory message by video link from AES president Andreas Mayo. The evening ended with drinks and dinner and all participants looked forward to another decade of active AES participation from The Netherlands.
