Summary
Local Chicago microphone company KAM Microphones came to Tribeca Flashpoint College to give the students a close-up look at their product line of mics, headphones, and other studio gear. The KAM team gave the students a demonstration of their mics in a "shootout" against the school's collection of mics, all of which are familiar to the students on a daily basis (AKG, Shure, Neumann, etc). The students voted on which microphone they believed to sound the best on various instruments and helped develop their own personal taste for microphone choice in the future.
