ection Chair Tony Schultz presented a plaque to Section Secretary Jonah Goska for his "Outstanding and Dedicated Service" to the Section as Secretary for the past 6 years. The Annual "Certificate of Recognition" Award was given to Section Treasurer Dan Foley for his service to the Section. A special "Certificate of Merit" was given to President Elect John Krivit for his valuable contributions to Audio Education throughout the World.
Elections were held for new officers. Former Vice Chair Lou Clark will succeed outgoing Chair Tony Schultz, who has been elected as VP of the Eastern Region of US/Canada. Ross Boyd as Secretary to succeed longtime Secretary Jonah Goska, Jonathan Sage as Vice Chair and Dan Foley was re-elected as Treasurer.

The evening featured Grammy award winning Producer/Engineer Ken Caillat. Ken Caillat's recordings have sold over 50 million copies. His record production and engineering efforts earned him numerous Grammy nominations. These include an Album of the Year Grammy and Best Engineered Album Grammy Nomination for Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, the third largest selling album of all time. In addition to engineering and producing other Fleetwood Mac titles; Tusk, Mirage, Live, and The Chain Box Set, his credits also include such stars as Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson as well as Christine McVie's solo album, In the Meantime (2002), her first album in over 10 years. Ken has also been a director, author and musician. In 2012 he released his memoir on his experiences co-producing and engineering the 1977 Rumours album, called "Making Rumours".
He is the father of singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat and worked to develop and promote her singing career. He became Executive Producer, co-producer and co-mixer for his daughter's Platinum selling album, Coco for UMG Music (2007), Breakthrough (2009) #1 record on Billboard Record Charts, and All of You (2011).
