As every year, this International Forum for Multichannel Sound is the right place in France for sharing experience in the range of tools, techniques and technologies for multichannel recording and rendering - the first day - then in the range of editorial contents such as specific productions, marketing success and quality feedback - the second day -. For the second consecutive year the Radio France auditorium was equipped with a large WFS crown to perfectly render 5.1 and 7.1 contents with a very large sweetspot. Some additional speakers were installed over the screen to allow the rendering of 3D audio contents. This 2013 edition was the first public demonstration of the MDA (Multi Dimensional Audio) format and its rendering tools thanks to Jean-Marc Jot (DTS).
