Dr. Olive described the current practices of the Acoustic Research department at Harman International. Specifically he addressed the use and advantage of of trained listeners, current practices and attitudes toward speaker and headphone design, and consumer appreciation of high quality systems. He shared extensive research and testing methods used in the examination and exploration of the previously mentioned topics.
