Jim Pace will present "Modern Physics in Microphone Technology," where he’ll be covering modern and innovative techniques as it applies to capsule design and configuration and their related benefits and applications.
The event will take place in the Seminar Room at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center on the campus of Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, VA. Parking is available in the parking garage located directly across from the hall.
Doors will open at 6:15PM for light food and socializing. (Please email [email protected] to RSVP so that we can get an accurate food order.) The AES meeting will begin at 7:00 and Jim's presentation begins at 7:15.

Other Business: -Announcing the Joint AES SBE meeting Tuesday March 12, 6:30pm at XM radio, Northeast DC. This meeting features Steven Savanyu, Marketing director Audio Technica (Cleveland, Ohio) who will give one of his famous MICROPHONE AND WIRELESS workshops. -ELECTIONS for AES DC Section Officers. At the April meeting, we will hold elections for section officers as the current officers' terms are coming to an end. If you or someone you know is interested, please let us know so we can begin to create the ballot. Officer roles in the DC Section are Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
