|
Wes Curtis & Alison McCarthy BBC Television, London, UK

Program metadata is a key commodity for broadcasters and their
audiences. The ability to capture and exchange metadata easily within
the organization and with external partners in a timely manner while
retaining quality is vital. The BBC is evaluating P-META, the EBU
standard language for program data exchange. We will present a
nontechnical overview of P-META, the opportunities it offers, and the
ways in which the BBC aims to use it. |
