| A discrete-time algorithm for compensation of nonlinear distortion in loudspeakers is presented. Discrete-time
nonlinear loudspeaker models and their use in developing a compensation algorithm are presented. The advantages of these models, particularly with respect to updating from system identification, are discussed. It is shown that this algorithm can be used to compensate for distortion caused by shortened-height voice coil loudspeakers, resulting in higher overall electroacoustic transduction sensitivity. | |
