This paper describes an approach and recording techniques
for natural sound recording of multichannel
audio, such as classical music recording in a concert
hall. A basic approach to multichannel sound recording,
the Layered Multichannel Sound Recording
Array, is proposed and discussed. Practical recording
techniques to reproduce the spatial impression are
also described in detail.
