Surround Sound Reverberation Using Digital Waveguide Mesh Modeling Techniques

Digital waveguide mesh models can be used to model
the acoustic and reverberant properties of an enclosed
space. Scattering junctions used to construct the mesh
enable a room impulse response (RIR) to be obtained for
a distinct point. Measuring over a number of junctions
and postprocessing enables an Ambisonic B-format RIR
to be obtained, which is suitable for surround sound
reverberation processing.
