Studio and loudspeaker designer Dave Malekpour has had a tremendous impact on the sound coming out of each of the recording studios in New York’s historic Quad Building. Malekpour, who transcends past and present ownership groups of the original Quad, is a critical player in defining the equipment workflows and monitoring systems that define modern Hip Hop. Malekpour currently operates Pro Audio Design, and Augspurger Monitoring companies from the Hanover, MA, HQ a 27,000 Sq foot facility with design, speaker manufacturing, console refurbishing and wiring system fabrication for facilities as far away as Beijing China, Amsterdam, and Saudi Arabia.
