Denis Martin is a course instructor, researcher, and audio engineer with diverse interests and expertise. He is a PhD candidate in Sound Recording at McGill University, holds a MMus in Sound Recording from McGill, and a BMus in Percussion Performance from Acadia University. His research interests include critical listening, technical ear training, perceptual evaluation of audio, and production techniques. Denis teaches courses at McGill University and the State University of New York: Potsdam. As a freelance engineer, he specializes in rock, R&B, jazz, and contemporary classical music.
