An innovative mechanical engineer with a specialization in simulation and modelling, Andri Bezzola is a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Samsung Research America’s Audio Lab in Valencia, California. Andri’s work reaches across the mechanical, acoustics, and system engineering teams performing multiphysics simulations and virtual studies of all aspects of loudspeaker design.
Andri Bezzola received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zürich, Switzerland, in 2005 and graduated with an MSc from ETH in 2007 with a specialization in lightweight structures and structural optimization.
From 2007 to 2014, Andri studied with the Computational Science and Engineering group of Prof. Linda Petzold at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB). He received his Ph.D. in March 2014.
In his spare time, Andri enjoys going to concerts, swimming and surfing, and spending time with his two young daughters. He likes to travel the world and speaks English, German, French, Italian, and a bit of Spanish in addition to his native mother tongue Raeto-Rumantsch.
