Jack Kelly has been an active recording engineer, musician, and composer since 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Electroacoustic composition at Concordia University, where he graduated with distinction. He received his Master's degree in sound recording at McGill University under esteemed professors Richard King, George Massenburg, Martha DeFrancisco, Wieslaw Woszczyk and Steven Epstein. As an engineer, he has recorded notable artists for labels such as Polyhymnia, Analekta, Atma Classics, Deutsche Grammophon, and the National Film Board of Canada. Jack is currently pursuing his PhD in sound recording at McGill University. His areas of interest include virtual acoustics systems, 3D music recording / spatial audio, and virtual reality.
