Anastasia Katsaounidou studied Political Sciences and received her Master’s degree in Journalism and New Media from School of Journalism & MC, Auth. Her Master Thesis deal with Content authenticity issues: detection of untruthful news stories from human and machines. She is currently a PhD researcher in School of Journalism & Mass Media Communication studying Interactive and collaborative environments to support digital content authentication supported financially by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Her interests include social media, misinformation, digital forensics, human-computer interaction, user experience design, user-generated content, non-linear storytelling, fact-checking, media verification, multimedia authentication.
