Mr. Wang studied in Beijing and Berlin with a major in Broadcast Engineering and is a Sound Engineer and System Designer. he worked for several years at SIEMENS in Germany, Austria and lastly in China as the Chief Representative Officer for Audio and Video Systems. Since 2005 he has worked as an audio engineering expert for the International Olympic Broadcasting. He was the director and Chief Engineer for audio engineering for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
he was one of the pioneers of stereo and surround sound for Chinese broadcasting stations, the first person who is running Audio Work Station in Broadcast Stations, also a one of the pioneers designing surround sound systems in Olympic Broadcasting in China.
He is also a professor for several universities and teach audio engineering technology.
He is the executive director of AES Beijing Science & Technology Co. Ltd.
He is the first Chair of new Beijing AES Section, the first one in Mainland China. Since 2017 he is elected by the AES members being a Vice-President of AES in charge of Asia-Pacific Region and the member of Board AES HQ.
