Kyle P. Snyder is an educator, engineer, and consultant dedicated to the advancement of audio education for engineers at every stage of development. He is a faculty member and Director of Outreach within Ohio University’s School of Media Arts & Studies where he routinely teaches courses in audio recording, sound design for film and video, and live event production.
His interests include pedagogical approaches relevant to the field of audio engineering, classical music recording, and audio post production. Most recently, Snyder contributed a chapter to the just-released Routledge Companion to Music, Technology, and Education and served as Audio Post Production Supervisor on Paul Laurence Dunbar: Beyond the Mask. When he’s not teaching or recording, Snyder can be found serving the Audio Engineering Society as Chair of the Education and Membership Committees.
