Charalampos Ferekidis

Charalampos Ferekidis graduated in 1997 from Hannover University with a degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Theory. During this time he developed psychoacoustic models for the MPEG2 and MPEG4 standards.
In 1997 he got self-employed and started his Design Bureau.
Since then Lampos has developed a broad range of transducers for a variety of clients. His development work included headphone units, tweeters for HiFi- and automotive applications, midranges and woofers of all sizes and applications. He also worked on the development of DMLs (distributed mode loudspeakers), actuators (exciters) and BMRs (balanced mode radiators).
His work is based on a strong background in acoustic and magnetic FE-analysis and supported by a pedantic attitude to measurements.
