Michael Horn

Michael Horn studied communication science, electrical engineering, and acoustics (Magister Artium 2013). In addition to freelance work as a sound engineer and as a visiting lecturer at the MDH.Berlin (sound & music for game design), he set up a large 3D opto-acoustic environment as a student research assistant at the TU Berlin. Since 2015 he has worked as a research assistant at the department for acoustics and music technology at Staatliches Institut für Musikforschung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SIMPK). His interests cover issues of simulation techniques, audio signal processing, music production, audio-visual perception, and media aesthetics.
