Daniel Wallace is a Postgraduate Research Student in the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton. Daniel graduated from the University of Southampton in 2016 with an MEng in Acoustical Engineering, having developed an interest in computational acoustics throughout his undergraduate studies and during industrial placements. Daniel is supported by the Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Computational Modelling (CDT-NGCM) and is actively involved in public engagement activities alongside his research and undergraduate teaching commitments. His research interests span physical and psychoacoustics including sound field control, numerical optimisation, room acoustics, signal processing and sound quality evaluation.
