Sound On Sound Features Editor Sam Inglis grew up in a disused water mill in the middle of nowhere, where no-one could stop him making a horrible racket. He began recording on four-track tape as a teenager, and joined Sound On Sound in 1998 after completing an honours degree and a Ph.D in philosophy. Sam has recorded and produced albums for artists including Blue Rose Code, Model Village and David Youngs, and in his own time, is a keen guitarist and singer of traditional folk song.
