World-renown keyboardist David Rosenthal has been a member of Billy Joel’s band since 1993. He is also his Musical Director. His dynamic tenure with Billy Joel includes the current record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden and all of the sold-out Face to Face tours with Elton John. David is also Musical Director for Ethan Bortnick, and has toured and/or recorded with Robert Palmer, Cyndi Lauper, Enrique Iglesias, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Steve Vai and many others. He was Associate Musical Supervisor and Synthesizer Programmer for all 4 productions of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “Movin' Out”. As synth programmer David’s credits include Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys and Billy Joel. As an orchestrator David’s credits include Billy Joel, Phil Ramone, Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen. Other career highlights include countless TV shows, concert videos and video clips; the Broadway production of “A Tale of Two Cities”; 2 Grammy nominations and numerous gold & platinum albums.
