Bob is an experienced Product Manager, having begun his career at Yamaha with the legendary DX7, TX and SY families of FM digital synthesizers, and professional digital audio products. He is skilled at understanding user need and experience, prioritizing features and capabilities. Before joining Yamaha Bob worked as a freelance Front of House audio engineer, primarily with Sound Image based in Escondido, CA. He has been honored for his leadership in the development of Dolby's PRM-4200 Professional Reference Monitor with the 2012 EMMY Award for Engineering Excellence. A life-long musician, Bob owns and operates a music and video project studio wherein Bob has composed and produced sound design for commercials as well as several CDs of original music. Most recently, Bob joined the product management team at Harman International, with the mandate to develop technologies and products that will enable Broadcasters to navigate and thrive during this period of extreme transitions that the Broadcast industry is currently facing
