Patrick is a research-focused engineer specializing in audio technology. Most recently, he co-authored a brand new headphone specification program for THX consumer electronics certification. He is also the lead researcher on spatial (3D) audio, specifically as it relates to headphone playback, focusing on audio algorithms and processing for 3D audio as well as performance metrics for headphone amplifiers.
