Steve Shultis is CTO for NY Public Radio, a broad company comprising broadcast stations WNYC-FM and -AM, WQXR-FM and an additional five Class A FM stations in the NYC/Tri-State area, WNYC Studios - a premier production arm for on-demand and streaming/broadcast audio, such as RadioLab, Feakonomics Radio, On the Media and 2 Dope Queens - as well as the topic for today's discussion, The Greene Space public performance space, located street-side at NYPR's SoHo studio/office complex.
Steve holds a BS degree in Sound Recording Technology from SUNY Fredonia and a MA degree in Music Composition from UCSD. He is a member of the NAB Radio Technology Committee and the National Radio Systems Committee. Entering his 30th year at NY Public Radio, Steve held previous positions with Bearsville Records and California Audio Labs.
